Michael says "Denise's notes do not make sense to me. Every version of the tune that I can find is for 32 bars. However, Denise's notes have instructions for four 6-bar phrases finishing with a 2-bar phrase, making 26 bars in total. The 2-bar phrase (partner two-hand turn) at the end seems to be superfluous as everyone is where they should be for the next turn of the dance (and a two-hand turn would normally require 4 bars). Since the tune is in 8-bar phrases, and the four 6-bar phrases described actually need 8 bars, I have chosen to present this dance as four 8-bar phrases and to ignore the final 2-bar phrase. You can download Denise's original notes and come to your own conclusions!"
The tune can be found in Thompson's 24 Country Dances for 1779
